FAQ

What type of clocks do you sell?

We specialize in analogue tide clocks, designed with a classic aesthetic and reliable functionality.

How are the clocks set?

  • Tide Clocks: These track the lunar cycle to show the state of the tide. Setting a tide clock is a bit different from setting a regular time clock, since it tracks the lunar day (about 24 hours and 25 minutes) to follow the tides.
  • To set:
    1. Find the most recent high tide for your location. Look up the most recent high tide for your location. You can find this on a local tide chart, a tide app, or a reliable website like tide-forecast.com.
    2. Make sure the tide time is for your exact coastal location, as tides vary by region.
    3. Use the dial on the back to move the tide hand to High Tide at that time.
    4. Insert the battery to start the clock.
    5. Adjust every few weeks if needed for accuracy.
